Letters and Guest Submission Policies

The Weekly welcomes submissions from any perspective on topics affecting the Muhlenberg community.

Letters to the Editor

It is the policy of The Muhlenberg Weekly to foster relationships with its readership, including through discourse in its Campus Voices section. Therefore, members of the College Community are encouraged to submit Letters to the Editor on any topic of interest to Muhlenberg, in direct reference to an article or otherwise.

Submission Requirements

All letters must be 250 words or less, be exclusively written for The Weekly, and be signed by the respective writer(s) to be considered for publication. Anonymous submissions are generally not be accepted.

The Weekly reserves the right to edit all pieces for grammatical, spacing, and legal purposes. The Editor-in-Chief has final jurisdiction on whether a Letter to the Editor is printed. Deadline for submission is Monday preceding publication by 7:00 p.m.

The Weekly does not guarantee publication of all letters to the editor.

Guest Submissions

The Weekly also invites guest opinion submissions if the author believes that more than 250 words are warranted. Individuals looking to submit such an article should contact the Campus Voices editor (bergweeklyoped@gmail.com) or the Editor-in-Chief (weeklyeditor@gmail.com) to discuss the topic. The Weekly does not guarantee publication of guest submissions.
