They say we are lazy
They say we are uncivilized
They say we are not beautiful
They take away our culture and origin
But what they can’t take away is our strength and excellence
Because leadership is in our lineage
We come from a long chain of bravery
A long chain of leaders who built empires and conquered armies
Who sailed the sea and hunted wildlife

Although bound by chains and toil.
They marched, hoped, and fought
