此剧本受中国著名民间传说《白蛇传》启发，并且做出创意式的改编。

^许仙和白兔挤进镜头，三人看着镜头

^一碗药

玉兔：师父，此为何物？（眨眨眼）

许仙：此物闻起来似乎是甘的，可是颜色却是绚丽的淡红色。

太上老君：你们要小心，切勿打撒了这瓶药。此药是为王母娘娘调制的忘忧水，娘娘近日来日夜思虑导致寝食难安，特来求助我殿，配制调养的药水

玉兔：弟子也听闻此事，前日是玉皇大帝的忌日，天兵们为玉皇大帝做了祭祀的典礼，娘娘站在宫台上晕倒了！

太上老君：大帝与娘娘相伴三十载，必是心灵相犀，触景伤情。

许仙：师父，思虑乃是心病，药石如何医治？

太上老君：此药是助娘娘安眠罢了。

玉兔：究竟情为何物，能叫人如此执着。

太上老君：哈哈你们尚幼，孽情使人魂牵梦萦，迷失方向，脱离正道。倘若潜心修炼，顺应天命，自有缘人配良情。

许仙：（搭着玉兔肩膀）我说妹妹，前几日书阁的公子不是向嫦娥娘娘提亲了吗，说要娶你，你忧情什么。

玉兔：那人太过呆板，不如你幽默，与他在一起，这日子岂不没有笑话了（袖子捂住嘴巴，偷偷笑）许仙：好啊，你竟然笑话我，看我怎么教训你

^许仙追着玉兔，两人绕着池子跑

太上老君：快别胡闹，天色已晚快回家罢，明日辰时你们启程前往竹林摘取草药。

许仙和玉兔：知道了，师父。

^太上老君离开

许仙：小玉不如你今晚来我府上住，那竹林在茗峒城下，离我府上不过几里路。你好久没来，我父亲可想你了。

玉兔：你可还要提那书生的事？

许仙：哈哈哈不提，不提便是，我府上有把好琴，正愁无人把弄。

玉兔：原来意图在此，我正好谱了一新曲..

许仙：（抢答）高山流水，彩云追月，妙哉妙哉，快走吧。

^许仙推着玉兔走，消失在天庭

Legend of the White Snake

[Tai Shang Laojun looks at the camera]

[Xu Xian and Jade Rabbit squeezed into the camera, the three look at the camera]

Jade Rabbit: Master, what is this thing? (Blink)

Xu Xian: This thing smells sweet, but the color is a gorgeous red.

Tai Shang Laojun: Be careful, don’t sprinkle this bottle of medicine. This medicine is for the queen’s mother. In recent days, the queen’s mother has been worried about sleeping and eating.

Jade Rabbit: Students also heard about this. The day before yesterday was the death day of the Jade Emperor. The soldiers made a memorial ceremony for the Jade Emperor.

Taishang Laojun: The emperor and his wife have been with each other for 30 years. The Queen’s mother must miss the emperor very much.

Xu Xian: Master, missing someone is a mental disease. How can medicine cure it?

Taishang Laojun: This medicine is to help the mother sleep.

Jade Rabbit: What kind of love can make people so persistent?

Tai Shang Laojun: Haha, you are still young, and the evil feelings make people’s souls dreamy, lose their direction and deviate from the right path. If you practice with all your heart, follow the fate of your destiny and have your own destiny.

Xu Xian: [Crossing the Jade Rabbit’s shoulder] Hey my sister, didn’t the son of Shuge (book house) propose to Chang’e’s mother a few days ago and say that he wants to marry you? What are you worried about?

Jade Rabbit: That person is too stupid; it’s better to be with you; you are such a humorous person. Being with him, there will be no jokes in the future. [Sleeve covering mouth and secretly laughing]

Xu Xian: OK, you are making fun of me; I will teach you a lesson.

[Xu Xian chases Jade Rabbit; they ran around the pond]

Tai Shang Laojun: Don’t mess around here; it’s late, please go home. Tomorrow morning, you will be in a bamboo forest to pick herbs.

Xu Xian and Jade Rabbit: I see, Master.

[Tai Shang Laojun leaves]

Xu Xian: It’s better for you to come to my house tonight; that bamboo forest is down on the earth but it is just a few miles from my house. It’s been a long time and my father missed you.

Jade Rabbit: Will you keep mentioning that son of Shuge (book house)?

Xu Xian: Hahaha. I won’t mention it. There is a good piano in my house.

Jade Rabbit: I know what you really want now; I just composed a new song.

Xu Xian: (quick answer) The mountains and rivers, Caiyun chasing the moon; I can’t wait, let’s go.

[Xu Xian pushes Jade Rabbit away and disappears into heaven]
